Not so skinny

First of all I have to say that I absolutely love my great grandma Curtis. She is the cutest little lady ever and I know that the day when she is no longer with us will be a very sad day. Well the other day I went to visit her and grandpa with my parents and Braden. My mom got up to get a drink of water or something and my grandma looked at my mom and said "wow Wendy you are so skinny!" Then I decided to follow my mom so I get up and my grandma looks at me and says "I am sorry Megan but you really aren't so skinny!" I was laughing so hard it was so funny. Right after she said it she knew that the way that she said it sounded a little bit rude and immediately said "well it is a good thing that you aren't skinny is what I was meaning!" I love my granny Curtis so much!! She is always so good at making everyone laugh.

14 weeks

I am now just over 14 weeks along and I have to say that I think that I am finally starting to relax about this baby. I have been pretty reserved with this little one. My mom and I were joking the other day at how this baby is probably up in heaven wondering why I am not more excited and why I have only gone out and bought a bib for him when with our last little one we went right out and started buying cute little things all over the place, it is probably thinking "this is so not fair!!" hahaha I think that probably with our Christmas money I will start to buy a few things that I have had my eye on.

Our last Dr. appointment went really well, the doctor was able to let us hear our little ones heartbeat he said that it sounded good and strong and that everything seemed to be going well. The heartbeat was a little bit on the slower side so Zach said that it is definitely a boy! I still have no idea almost everyone besides Zach says girl but I really don't think I would mind spoiling a little girl. Plus I am sure that she will have Zach wrapped around her little finger from the moment she is born!

My mom and I have been taking monthly pictures to show how my belly is growing. At first I thought that I would like this and being able to have pictures to see the difference but my belly started to round when I was like 8 weeks! hahah I hope that doesn't mean that I will be HUGE although I am pretty sure that unfortunately my belly isn't going to be the only thing that gets big :(
