4th of July

Zach and I spend the 4th of July with my family and this year Bridger was playing in a baseball tournament in Park City. Our family had decided to just pull the trailer up and camp instead of getting a hotel. Zach and I had planned on going up to see a few games but then we ended up staying up there for the weekend but only got to see one of Bridger's games. (The game we did see however was great our team ended up coming back and winning in the last inning!) While we were at Park City Zach and I couldn't pass up on the opportunity we had to go to the outlets and go shopping!! This is what we got...

I got a new pair of soccer cleats! YEAH!! (I haven't had a new pair since high school!)

Zach got a cool new pair of NIKE sun glasses.

We both got some Old Navy socks...I LOVE these socks they are fabulous!!!

While we were there Zach, Aly and Bridger had never been on the Alpine slide so we decided to take a ride. Zach about hit a few groundhogs as he was going down and needless to say he still beat me down the hill!

Every time we go to Park City it is a tradition to go to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and get a caramel apple...this year we got a snickers and apple pie caramel apple and they were DELICIOUS!!

At our campsite there were some very cool weeds...yes weeds they were really tall and they had this really bright purple color centers...

I thought that they were so cool that I should take a picture. When Zach and I got home we were taking Zeus out to the bathroom and saw that these same cool weeds were also growing in our back yard! I don't think that they are so cool anymore!

That night we were also able to got see some fireworks and they were pretty good. Over all I think it was a great 4th of July!

A sticky situation?

So as I have said before Zach lays carpet and other types of flooring for his work. Well a few months ago Zach came home and told me that he had been working with glue down carpet. With glue down carpet it is a little more difficult since you have to use some really STICKY glue. Zach ended up getting some of the glue on his arm when lifting up the pad. It was about the size of a half dollar and when he pulled the pad off he pulled his hair off with it! So he had a bald spot on his arm for a while until the hair grew back in. Well on Thursday last week I got a text from Zach saying that he had done same thing again but that this time it was a lot worse and all over his arms and legs! When I got home this is what I found...
Zach had to shave his arms...

And his legs...

If you look close enough you can see little sores on his legs were he tried to just remove the glue however it obviously didn't work very well! Hahaha he has said that it has been a little bit more cold with out all of that hair on his legs!
