Our wedding day

Zach and I chose to be married for time and all eternity in the Bountiful Temple on May 2, 2008. Just about the whole week before the big day it was raining! I thought that for sure it would rain on our special day...but lucky for us it didn't the day was absolutley perfect. The ceremony was just as perfect. We were lucky enough to to have a lot of our family and friends there to support us. After the temple it was time to go decorate. Our reception was held at my Aunt Les and Uncle Scott's Beautiful home so the decorating was all on us (which is just fine my family they for sure know how to to decorate, thanks to all of you who helped!) Before we could go decorate Zach and I need some food desperately since neither one of us had eaten before the ceremony because we were so nervous so we stopped by KFC and ate some chicken!!! Hahaha what great breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!! Once we were all set up everything looked great. Everything that we had planned went so smooth and was such a relief to have it all just fall together, that is the way that our whole relationship has been and we are so very grateful for that blessing in our lives together. Our wonderful day was filled with joy, love, excitement, happiness. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our special day work! We love you all!

Being Baptized

So this past week it was my turn to teach my primary class and the lesson was on bieng baptized. We discussed a lot of things about bieng baptized such as being 8 years old, only a priesthood holder can perform this, what immersion means ect. Well at the end of the lesson we asked some review questions just to make sure that the kids understood all of the things of baptism. One of the questions I asked was who can baptize you? I had multiple answers but one of the little boys yelled out Jesus, Jesus can baptize you! And the little boy next to him looked at him funny and said now how is Jesus going to come down from Heaven and baptize you?! Hahaha it was so funny and so cute. These little ones are so fun to teach and I learn so much from them! I love my calling as a primary teacher and am so thankful for it!
This week Zach was also able to be there and teach with me and all of the boys loved him! Spencer said Zach is his favorite teacher and that if Zach is Brother King the I should be Sister Queen! I really love my primary class!

Draper Temple

We were able to go to the open house of the Draper Temple yesterday with my family. Temples are so beautiful and so amazing. All of the little intricate designs all over the building are just beautiful. I am truly so grateful that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and that I am able to live so close to so many of these amazing Temples. I know that I take for granted the fact that I have the so many Temples around me and I don't take advantage of them. As we were walking through the we got to the Ordinace room and I couldn't help but to think of April 29, 2008 when I was able to go inside one of these amazing buildings and be able to take out my own endownment. It was such a neat expierence and I was blessed to be able to have Zach and both of our parents there with me, a long with many other family members and close friends. We were also able to see into one of the sealing rooms. Zach and I were able to go to the Bountiful Temple and be sealed together as an eternal family. I remember sitting there in that room being so overwhelmed with emotion and just being so excited. That day by far was the best day of my life. I am so blessed to be a part of this church. I am grateful that we were both raised in the church by great parents who have loved and supported us in all that we have done in our lives!
